GTI has been developing and refining the use of Infrared and oblique stereo aerial photography as a
primary geotechnical investigation tool for over twenty five (25) years. This
specialized imagery provides
the same stereoscopic viewing as vertical stereo images. Geotechnical planning and False
Color Infrared film add extensive interpretation capabilities to detect and delineate
geologic hazards and other ground structures, environmental contamination, and hydrologic information,
with significant enhancements over standard vertical airphotos.
